Top 20 Must Haves Products Part 1
TOP 20 MUST HAVE PRODUCTS!
20. Lineage Glowy Lip Balm - This lip balm is $15. Seems steep but I really like it. Doesn't feel to greasy on the lips. Hydrates well for day and night. Not the best under lipstick. A little to much for that. Overall just a good product. Super easy to use.
19. Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm - This product is $34. You get a lot of product and a little goes a very long way. I've had mine for months and I've barely scratched the surface. I wish I'd bought it about a month later and gotten the limited edion cherry one, but only because it's pink. (very shallow) This balm is nice a slick. It removes waterproof mascara well. As well as liquid lipsticks and foundation. I don't use it when I'm not using makeup unless I used a heavy sunscreen, but it's always my first step in a double cleanse. Witch I recommend doing. It's my favorite cleansing balm though. No frills, no fuss, simple.
18. Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum - This product is $6. Really affordable for something so useful. I love hyaluronic acid and this one just makes getting it into my routine easy. I use it at night along side other serums. (I like to mix and match) It helps keep me hydrated when I'm using retinol. I've been using the Luna oil from Sunday Riley but I'm switching that. I haven't found the right retinol for me. Though I've used Luna for years. Any dryness that comes with that product is helped by this serum and another I'll mention soon.
17. Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser - This product is $34. This is only the average price for me with cleansers. Unless I get minis, but those never last. I have tried several drug store options but nothing has stuck. This cleanser gives a little foaming action. Nothing serious. It's not stripping, it leaves the skin soft and clean. Does it brighten? I'm not 100% sure. I've seen an improvement in my brightness but I think that's another product. This I use as my second step of my double cleanse or as my only step. I try and use this most of the time, but I'm known to get lazy and use micellar water as my morning clease. I know it's not ideal but it's somedays all I can mange. I do like this cleanser and will buy it again.
16. KIEHL'S Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Mask - For 4.2 oz at $35 this is worth it. I really enjoy this as a night mask. I really lay on the serums at night so something really light is nice to just seal in the hydration and treatments. I really like to pair this with the Good Molecules serums I use, retinol and Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate. With everything I use my skin in the morning is clear and glowy. I ushally don't need to put on any base makeup unless I'm filming, but even then I'll sometimes skip it. But my night mask really works well. I like it a lot. It's more like a gel then a cream though so don't let the discription mislead you.
15. Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate - I've only gotten the mini so far and spent $27, but it goes up to the $100 mark. This is new to my skin routine. I've been using it on the nights when I don't use retinol. It feels like a mix between a serum and an oil. It's light and smells very herbal. I've wanted this product for years since I was in my early 20s but it never happened. I'm so excited to have it now, and I will invest in the large one at some point happily.
14. Fur Oil - Running $46 this product makes me feel so much more pretty. This is going to get personal so if you're not comfy discussing "down there" maybe skip this product because that's where I use it. I struggle to pick between shaved and unshaved in my pubic area. Partly because I don't like the way pubic hair feels between my thighs. This though makes a huge difference. Everything feels softer whenever I use it consistantly. I'll admit I've had a couple of days I've skipped it and the texture changes a little, but still everything has gotten nice and more smooth. I'm very happy with it.
13. Tatcha Violet c Brightening Serum - Running $88 this product was an ungrade from Glow Recipes Pinapple Brightening Serum. The Pinapple worked ok but I really wanted to take it up a notch and this seemed like the best option with my research. My guess is there are more vitamin c serums that would do similar things and be more afforadable but I haven't played around with that enough. As it stands I really like this one and will continue to use it. I only need one pump for my whole face so it's really long lasting. I just hope it doesn't go bad before I use it up.
12. Fresh Rose Hydrating Toner - This at $45 for the large bottle is my nighttime toner. I use this so I can put some hydration back into my skin. This really does that. Balances the PH levels and gives a nice glow. Nothing super noticeable just very nice, it takes about 3 months to see the results from using this but once you do it's really nice.
11. THE ORDINARY AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution - I have two AHA and BHA products that I alternate between this one runs $7.20. You really can't beat it. It works well and really gives a nice exfoliation to the skin. It will tingle the first few times you do it, and if you have sensitive skin it maybe to much for you to use. That said I love both the products I use for this reason and I can't pick just one. This one rates a little lower because my skin doesn't feel as baby soft. Still get that smoothness though.
